Halpin & Hayward offer a full range of Steam Boilers Pretreatment options and equipment. Pre-treatment does not only apply to physical plant or equipment. Mechanical / operational adjustments to the boiler system can improve the water treatment. Adjustments such as heating the feed water to >85ºc will begin to mechanically remove oxygen from the feed water thus reducing boiler corrosion potential. This can also deliver savings in chemical costs. Heating the feed tank is inexpensive and normally means rerouting condensate from the drain back to the hotwell.
